Scope of works
Bow Top
To supply and install approximately 211m of new 1.5m high bow top railings to the above site. Bow top to be as per below specification and new posts set in suitable concrete foundations
Posts 60 x 60mm SHS set at 2.75m post ctrs
Rails 40 x 10 flat bar secured with cleats to posts
Infill 16mm solid bar at 116mm ctrs
Finish Galv and PPC colour TBC
Post and Rail
To supply and install approx. 22.52m of 1.2m high Post and rail fencing as below specification
Posts 125 x 75 x 1800mm square sawn timber posts; set in concrete foundations at 1.8m centres.
Rails 2no. 88 x 38 x 3600mm square sawn timber rails; nailed to posts
Closeboard
To supply and install approximately 129.77m of timber featheredge fencing to the above site. All fencing as per below specification
Posts Concrete Slotted 2400 x 100 x 87mm
Gravel Boards Concrete 1830 x 150 x 50mm
Timber Panels Closeboard fully framed, 1830mm Wide x 1650mm High
Finish Green treated – painting or staining by others
Picket Fence
To supply and install approximately 30.62m of 1200mm high timber picket fencing system. Fencing specification as below
Pale KDM – Picket Pale 1200mm round top
Posts KDM – 90 x 90 smooth planed posts set in suitable concrete foundations
Rails KDM – 2no. 30 x 70 backing rails
Post and Rail
To supply and install approx. 54m of 1.2m high Post and rail fencing as below specification
Posts 125 x 75 x 1800mm square sawn timber posts; set in concrete foundations at 1.8m centres.
Rails 4no. 88 x 38 x 3600mm square sawn timber rails; nailed to posts
Field Gates
To supply and install 1no. 1.22m wide single leaf timber field gate c/w dig in posts, double striker latch and adjustable hinges
