All our timber rails are pressure treated green to offer long term protection against fungal and insect attack, including termites, for both in and out of ground contact, and general exterior applications. The green colour from the preservative weathers down to a natural brown and eventually to a natural silver grey. The weathering process does not indicate any loss of preservative.
