If you are erecting a closeboard fence then this capping, used in conjunction with our counter rail will provide a great finish and also help to protect the tops of the featherboards from water ingress.

Our Premium Closeboard Panels are top of the range and made with thicker, pressure-treated timber for added strength and increased lifespan. Our fully framed Closeboard panels are one of the most popular ways to build a solid boundary fence structure, and are constructed from overlapping vertical timber boards which are nailed with stainless steel nails to chamfered horizontal rails and framed edges. Our panels sit into our slotted concrete and timber posts. The panels should ideally sit on a gravel board to prevent water saturation into the base of the fence.

All our featheredge pales are green pressure treated and available in a variety of lengths from 750mm up to 2.4m. Other lengths available or we can cut to your exact length – please contact the office to discuss with one of our helpful staff.
Please allow an overlap of 20 to 25mm – we normally allow 40 pales per 3.0m wide bay.
