Description
Our fully framed premium closeboard fencing panels are constructed using 100mm (4″) vertical slats slightly overlaped with one another. This is where the the concept of ‘closeboard’ derives, where each slat (or ‘board’) is constructed close together to offer added strength and also prevent any vision through the fence. These vertical slats are nailed using stainless steel nails into a number of rear-facing and chamfered horizontal rails, giving them an aesthetically pleasing design from the front, whilst offering an extremely strong design. A 2 way-weathered capping rail helps to prevent water ingress into the featherboards. The chamfered rails allow the water to run off the structure of the panel, thus helping to prevent water penetration and preventing rot. All timber components used within the construction of our premium range are fully pressure treated with green timber preservative to protect the panel against fungal decay.
In our view this is one of the strongest and longest lasting closeboard panels available on the market.
