Deer Netting Fencing
Deer fencing has been traditionally used throughout rural UK for either keeping farmed deer in or for protecting woodland or farmland from wild deer damage. More recently however since the inception of the solar industry deer fencing is now commonly used as a low cost security perimeter fence.
To date we have installed approximately 60 kilometres to a number of solar farms throughout the UK including the largest solar farm constructed in the UK;. RAF Lyneham.
Consisting of treatment class HC4 timber posts and Tornado galvanised deer wire R13/192/15.

- Straining Posts: 138mm dia x 3.0m long straining posts c/w support struts knocked in at corners and all turns in the fenceline and at 50m maximum centres on straight runs.
- Inter Posts: 75-100mm x 2.7m dia. pointed intermediate posts, knocked in at 3.0m centres
- Wire: Tornado R13/192/15 galvanised deer netting wire; stapled to the posts using 40mm galvanised staples.
Finish – Hight tensile wire, heavily galvanised for maximum longevity.
